Massachusetts STEM Summit
In 2004, following the U.S. Department of Education’s National Summits on Mathematics and Science, Massachusetts launched the nation’s first STEM Summit. Since that time, leaders and practitioners from the state’s education, business, and government sectors continue to gather annually at the Summit to discuss policy and share information, projects, and ideas.

UMass Donahue Institute is partnered with UMass Boston in support of the College of Education and Human Development’s progarm to develop and oversee a new, statewide training and technical assistance resource for the Commonwealth’s early childhood and out-of-school time workforce.
Academy for New Legislators
The UMass Donahue Institute, with the UMass President's Office, the Office of the State Senate President, and the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hosts the Academy for New Legislators following the election in Massachusetts of new legislators every two years.
