The UMass Donahue Institute addresses critical questions and develops innovative solutions to help organizations and agencies from both the public and private sectors meet challenges, measure success, and set goals. We frequently collaborate with faculty and staff from all five UMass campuses, connecting the inquiry and insight of academia with the urgency and pragmatism of the business world.
We blend academic credentials with hands-on professional experience in varied technical skill areas including research, training, and consulting. Our expertise includes economic/public policy research and analysis; applied research and program evaluation; democracy education; regional business services and job seeker resources; and early childhood development, as well as special project areas.
Applying our combined knowledge, expertise, and resources we serve a range of clients, from small non-profit organizations to large global corporations, as well as municipalities, federal agencies, school districts, and statewide associations. Our work is funded by grants, contracts, and fees generated by the services we provide.
