The Head Start National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations (PMFO) brings together a thoughtful blend of highly experienced staff with national, regional, state, and grantee Head Start experience; program management, governance and fiscal specialists; and fiscal consultants.

PMFO's work includes, but is not limited to topics such as leadership, governance, management systems, and fiscal operations.

Training and technical assistance is delivered to regional training and technical assistance providers, Head Start and Early Head Start agencies, and other early care and education settings across regions, tribes, and territories. PMFO also assists Head Start grantees to implement and enhance the infrastructure necessary to support a well-managed system of early care and education.
