MASS: migration. A joint project of The UMass Donahue Institute and MassINC (for MassHousing).

This research analyzes recent migration patterns in Massachusetts, examining both the magnitude of migration over the last 12 years and the characteristics of migrants. The authors also analyze where people leaving the Bay State are going and where new arrivals are coming from. The research shows that Massachusetts is only narrowly winning the fight to attract young, highly educated talent from its economic competitors.
