UMass Civic Initiative leads conference in Karachi about entrepreneurship
The UMass Civic Initiative led a 15-day trip to Pakistan in January to visit the cities of Karachi and Lahore. In Karachi they led a 2-day conference about creating an entrepreneurship culture in the province of Balochistan. Other events included program alumni reunions and a visit to a truck art studio.
The much shorter Lahore leg of the trip focused on alumni reunions and also discussions with startup incubators and accelerators.
