Career Specialist Ana Darosa awarded for client service

Ana Darosa, a career specialist at MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center, was recently recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her exemplary contributions to her jobseeker clients.

Specifically, Ms. Darosa was recognized for helping Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance customers at MassHire Greater Brockton to enroll in training and gain jobs with sustainable wages.

“Ana has over 15 years’ experience working with job seekers in all facets of job search. She handles every job seeker assigned to her with respect and the utmost professionalism," said Mary Osorio, manager of job seeker services at the career center. "Her caseload is mostly Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients, whose goal is to become self-sufficient. We’re very happy with Ana’s nomination and success in running the current Work Participant Program in collaboration with DTA at MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center.”

Ms. Darosa has been with the career center since 2001.

The event’s keynote speaker was Rosalin Acosta, secretary of Mass. Labor and Workforce Development. The day also featured a series of peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing workshops.
