Massachusetts High Tech Council commissions bio-pharma study
The Massachusetts pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries are widely recognized as pillars of the Commonwealth’s knowledge economy. While the industries are clearly interconnected, the specific ways in which they support one another’s growth are not well understood.
Sponsored by the Massachusetts High Tech Council, the UMass Donahue Institute will assess the interactions between these two important industries and identify obstacles to continued expansion in the state. A report for elected officials, policymakers, and opinion leaders will outline recommendations to accelerate growth.
