A record-breaking day in Worcester for the 12th annual event

On November 10th, a record-breaking audience estimated at 1,600 convened at the DCU Center in Worcester for a day of STEM learning and sharing.

The morning kicked off with the inspirational story of the "Richbot 3000" and continued with two periods of individual breakout sessions. Attendees then came together for the luncheon plenary that included presentation of the 4th annual "STEM Teacher of The Year" by The Hall at Patriot Place, remarks by UMass President Marty Meehan, and an address by Governor Charlie Baker. Attendees then participated in their choice of afternoon breakout sessions. Throughout the day, attendees interacted with the more than 50 exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall.

The Summit's co-organizers the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, the Massachusetts STEM Advisory Council, and UMass Donahue Institute - thank the record number of nearly 50 sponsors who helped make this event a huge success. Also, numerous volunteers assisted attendees with materials, directions, and other kinds of support. The DCU Center is also thanked for their assistance in preparing the space and providing support throughout the day.
