Springfield Events Presents Baseline Data for City and Commonwealth
On October 21, the UMass AMherst School of Public Health and the Institute presented the baseline data for the study of the imacts of gambling in Massachsuetts titled SEIGMA or Social and Economic Impacts of Gambling in Massachusetts. The University of Chicago is also involved in the collection of data for the study.
Mark Melnik, the Institute's director of Economic and Public Policy Research, presented to a crowd of nearly 100 interested community members and the media.
