Contract awarded to evaluate the Commonwealth Corporation’s DYS Education Initiative
The UMass Donahue Institute has been selected through a competitive bid process to design and implement an evaluation of the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services’ Education Initiative, a reform focused intervention to improve the quality of educational services provided to youth in DYS care.
DYS implemented this initiative three years ago in partnership with the Commonwealth Corporation’s Center for Youth Development and Education (CYDE) and the Hampshire Educational Collaborative.
