CareerWorks partners with Massasoit Community College to provide MCAS assistance
CareerWorks has announced a partnership during the 2015-16 school year with Massasoit Community College to provide MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System) tutoring and workforce readiness skills to area high school students and recent graduates of Brockton area high schools.
Through a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, this program serves young people in the region in their efforts to obtain their high school MCAS competency determination and to obtain career awareness, readiness, exploration and employment services. While CareerWorks will work to identify potential program participants, the college will provide the MCAS tutoring.
The CareerWorks Career Center will continue to partner with Massasoit Community College in helping youth throughout the region to also obtain their high school diplomas.
