As Influx of Puerto Rican Students Arrive, Significant Economic and Social Gaps Exist
Massachusetts has one of the highest concentrations of Puerto Rican families in the nation, largely spread across five Gateway Cities with significant education challenges, according to a new analysis by Massachusetts Parents United (MPU) and the UMass Donahue Institute.
The Institute undertook research on the Puerto Rican population of Massachusetts for its client, Massachusetts Parents United.
