2017 STEM Summit in review: Videos and images

...and planning for 2018!

The 14th annual Massachusetts STEM Summit was held on November 14, 2017 at Worcester's DCU Center. The day-long event brought hundreds of educators, business leaders, government agencies and nonprofits together for a day that focused on the strength of partnerships.

To start off the day, Massachusetts Lt. Governor Karyn Polito and Yvonne Spicer from the Museum of Science, Boston led the morning plenary session attended by nearly 1,300 STEM enthusiasts. The 2017 STEM Teacher of the Year award was also presented.

The luncheon plenary was highlighted by John Warner, the president and chief technology officer of the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. John talked about his unconventional path to science.

Besides the plenaries, attendees had the chance to peruse over 70 exhibits and 40 breakout sessions.

You have many ways to look back!

Thank you to the attendees, our generous sponsoring organizations, and Summit staff for once again making this event a tremendous success!

Thank you to all who took the feedback survey. We learned a lot about how the event went and how we can improve your experience for next year.

We are 14 years strong with the STEM Summit and the movement continues to build.

Sincerely,

The STEM Summit Team
