UMass Satellite Center: Market Analysis for Springfield

At the request of UMass President Robert Caret, the UMass Donahue Institute, working with UMass Amherst Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy and his staff, conducted market research regarding the feasibility of siting a UMass Satellite Center in the Gateway City of Springfield.
The goal of the Satellite Center would be to provide local access to high-quality, affordable education, training, research and other programs which may not currently be easily accessible to some of the region’s residents.
