UMass NCI Practitioner Survey Findings
February 2006
This report presents the findings of a study of the factors affecting health care practitioners’ use of research-based practices in cancer care. For this report, the UMass Donahue Institute conducted a survey of 2,864 health care practitioners for the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Education and Special Initiatives. The findings will inform NCI’s program plan for increasing the awareness and implementation of evidence-based practices among health practitioners involved in cancer care.
