Engaging Immigrant Networks to Build Inclusive Workforces

In collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, WES developed the SIIP Demonstration Implementation guides as a resource for state and local governments, community-based organizations, institutions, and other entities seeking to develop and scale immigrant and refugee workforce inclusion. This first guide addresses effective strategies for engaging immigrant networks, presenting successful approaches, strategies, and examples from state and local partners who engaged immigrant networks to build inclusive workforces as part of their SIIP Demonstration work. In this guide, organizations can learn from the approaches taken by Synergy Texas, the Nevada Office for New Americans, and the Office of Global Michigan in learning the local landscape, developing partnerships, and building capacity to bolster their networks.
