Asian students learn politics, leadership, from UMass Donahue Institute program
Than Toe Aung (Myanmar), Amanda Cheah (Singapore) and Siti Fuadilla Alchumaira (Indonesia) are part of a group of 20 young leaders from southeast Asia who are visiting Amherst this fall along with several other east coast sties including Boston, New York City and Washingon, DC. Just halfway through their visit, they've already learned a lot about US culture and politics.
