Technology and marketing are today's top manufacturing skills
The Worcester Business Journal Online published an editorial responding to a recent report by the UMass Donahue Institute and the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness which looked at job openings in the Massachusetts manufacturing sector. The editorial addresses the changing definition of manufacturing work and the need for the state’s manufacturers and educational institutions to provide technical high schools and colleges with the resources they need to prepare a skilled workforce for these new opportunities.
