Ambassador Masood Khan urges more linkages between Pakistan, US educational institutions
Visits include UMass and Amherst high school.
By invitation of the UMass Civic Initiative, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, touted people-centric ties between the two countries on February 10 at Goodell Hall.
Chancellor Subbaswamy in turn highlighted the many years of exchanges run by the UMass Civic Initiative, in partnership with the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’s “Study of the US Institutes”.
Earlier in the day, the ambassador addressed 50 students at Amherst Regional Public School to discuss the economic relationship between Pakistan and the U.S.
The visit was also featured in Frontier Post, Dunya News, Radio Pakistan, Express Tribune and the Business Recorder.
