Chesterfield Independence Day parade draws international crowd to hilltowns
Several groups representing over a dozen countries attended the Chesterfield Independence Day Parade. The groups, visiting through programs hosted by the UMass Civic Initiative, represent over a dozen countries. For the last several years, the Civic Initiative has brought their visiting groups to the parade. The Springfield Republicanc (MassLive.com) and the Daily Hampshire Gazette both mentioned the groups' attendance at the July 4th event.
