MassMOCA at 25 years: is there economic lift?
Rod Motamedi, associate director of the Economic & Public Policy Research group, talks about teh impact of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams. The museum complex is a refurbished former factory in this northwest Berkshires town.
“North Adams is assuredly better for having the museum than not,” said Motamedi. “But has it fundamentally changed the trajectory of the town? That’s unclear.”
